I've been spelling my name lately. I know. I know. It jeopardizes the very integrity of all I hold dear on this blog, but that is why I have even absent for so long. It has just been an automatic thing that I can't seem to stop. 

Today I speed my name at starbucks.

Me: "Cara"

Barista: "Is that with a C or a K?"

Me: "A C! Thank you for asking! It's C-A-R-A!"

And this is what we ended up with...

So it took me about 10 minutes to even realize that my drink was up.

Two of my favorite people BOTH had their names destroyed by a hard of hearing Starbucks barista today. Perhaps NY is preparing for my holiday arrival.

Therefore...
Talia gets an extra syllable to be "Talahia"
&
Mandy gets thoroughly modern as "Milly"

... Except not. Like, at all.
